YES Hiring School Cycling Instructors Level 3 for LADOT Grant

School Cycling Instructors Level 3 are needed to train 150 physical education teachers from forty middle schools. Thanks to a grant from the Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT), the SCI will provide “train-the-trainer” to teachers to conduct the “YES-BLAST” curriculum for grades 6-8. This will also include lessons for the novice & special needs riders.

All School Cycling Instructors who wish to be hired for the LADOT grant are required to attend an afternoon workshop on October 28th.

Interested SCI’s must attend the four-hour workshop. Classroom is scheduled for 10:30 am – 12:30 pm with lunch at 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm. Participants will be on bikes at 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm.

The fee is $20 and will be collected at the beginning of class. Contact us if you want to be added to the participant list. Bring your bike!
